Workshop on ‘Insights in the ecotoxicological risk assessment of plant protection products’

We are pleased to announce the one-day workshop on ‘Insights in the ecotoxicological risk assessment of plant protection products’ on June 17 or June 19, 2025 at the Ctgb in Ede, The Netherlands.

Due to a technical error, registrations for the workshop sent between 23 April 15.30 h and 24 April 13.30 h did not reach the Ctgb.

This workshop provides further insight in the ecotoxicological risk assessment of plant protection products. The workshop focusses on terrestrial ecotoxicology. A key topic is the implementation of the Birds & Mammals GD (2023) in October 2025, based on the current views and interpretation of the Ctgb. In addition, the workshop will address current issues for soil organisms, bees and non-target terrestrial plants. Each topic will be presented by a different ecotoxicology expert. The workshop will be held in English. The fee for this workshop is € 1140,- per participant.

To benefit most from the workshop, knowledge on (terrestrial) risk assessment of plant protection products is recommended. The workshop is designed for specialists, experienced consultants and registration managers. 

The workshop starts at 9.30 h (registration opens at 9.00 h). For each topic, there will be adequate time allotted for discussion. 

Below you will find the workshop program. 

If you would like to participate, please fill out the registration form and and return it by 20 May 2025. If you are available on both dates, please tick both date boxes, which enables us to come to an equal distribution of participants over both days. You will be informed as soon as possible to which day you are assigned (both days have the same programme). After registration you will receive a confirmation of receipt within two working days. If you haven’t received the confirmation by email after two working days please contact Ms Jacqueline Willemsen by email. Please note that attendance is limited to a maximum of 25 participants per workshop/day.

Cancellation after 3 June 2025 will not be reimbursed.

If the number of participants is not sufficient to fill up both workshops, only one workshop will take place.
